Just dropped in to say hi, have a dental appointment so probably be back later.

I'm 64, have been a member and Admin of a few forums so pretty old to forums.

I'm not very exciting, can be a tad blunt at times without meaning to offend.

Hi Bolder.

I'm currently undergoing periodontal treatment with a view to dental implants perhaps later in the year.

I believe if it's done soon enough, a knocked out tooth can be restored by putting it back in the socket, wrap in foil and splint to the one next to it.

G'day Bolder!

Welcome to the forum, it's really great to see you here!

Dentists *shudder*

Hope it all goes ok.

Booked all of us in over the next week too for the general 6 month check up, make sure they're all brushing and flossing properly etc LOL

Gotta get the most out of the ol' health fund - costs a fortune these days.

Might be an old wive's tale, but I learned somewhere that if you knock your tooth out to put it in a glass of milk and then get to the dentist post haste and he can put it back in.
