Is anyone following the US Presidential Election?
I have been following it for the past 2-3 months and have some views on it. I would like to get other Australians views.

OK . regardless of the winner there will be no wall , no mass deportations .
the estimated costs are phenomenal and render the idea impracticable.
The democrats will win the house back , the president (if trump) will be a lame duck from day one and a lot of people will be very disappointed .
personally from looking at the figures it looks like a Clinton victory .

Frownie, what you describe may appear so to the casual observer. They have a weird election system that is stacked in favour of the incumbent but there is a huge groundswell that may overcome that. This is a very unconventional election cycle.  I have a feeling that you will proven incorrect in tour prediction, just as you were in our recent election :)

I'm no more a casual observer than yourself ? I didn't make an election prediction here or anywhere else in respect of the near dead heat we had in Australia .
As for the US result , i have said ''i think this will happen '' but i haven't said ''This will happen''

No I haven't really been following it apart from the news.

I like Trump but can't see him as president.

I don't like Clinton but she seems to have the backup and the numbers

Neither of the candidates are for real IMO, just paper cutouts.

In fact frownie, I examined your original statement and nowhere could I find the word "think", perhaps you could point it out to me  >:D

This is funny and serious to believe that there are actually Americans like these by the multitude.

Hmmmm... you seem to have made an error in the species as well  :o

"Liberals" in the US are in fact Democrat lefties. but you can be forgive for that oversight because by your own admission you do not follow what is going on there O0

no error from me      i didn't notice people identifying who they supported but i turned it off halfway  . A set-up like that might amuse the sophomoric right , but it proves nothing. as i said , a set-up most likely  ;)
now , as you claim to follow closely .. do you have anything besides infantile set ups ?
i must have known ''liberals'' in US parlance meant lefty for thirty or more years lol.

Australia has a medium level or education but by comparison the US is by far below our standard.

And yes I di base my opinion on facts :)
