Poddy, I have a pic in my gallery.  How do I put into a post. 

 I click on INSERT IMAGE icon and nothing to assist

You can upload the image to the gallery and once uploaded click the uploaded image and you will see a dialogue  box named BBC code. just cut the code in the box and paste it in your post where you want the image to appear

May I introduce to you Dame Cleo Laine.
I had the pleasure of playing host to her and her husband John Dankworth when they gave a concert in my town.
One of my friends was at university with John and when they visited here he asked if I would be kind enough to host a dinner party at my place as he just lived in a small flat. I jumped at the chance.
Cleo Laine has a voice range of 6 octaves, a very impressive talent. I am forever thankful to Doctor Richards for giving me the op pertunity to meet one of my most favourite performers.
